She began her teaching career at Stepping Stones Senior Secondary School, Chandigarh (2004–2006), teaching English and Social Science to primary and secondary classes. From 2009 to 2023, she served as a Nursery Department Teacher at South Point School, Kolkata, where she managed large classrooms of up to 60 students per session, gaining deep insight into child psychology and classroom dynamics.
In 2024–2025, Sushmii took on the role of Principal at Apple Blossom Preparatory Playschool, overseeing admissions, mentoring staff, and managing both academic and administrative functions. She also served as a Class Teacher for Class 3 at Loreto House, Middleton Row -Kolkata for a short period.
Beyond mainstream teaching, she has been a part-time faculty for Personality Development & Personal Grooming at Mahadevi Birla Girls’ High School and Horizon Aviation Academy. Her earlier career also includes a stint as HR Executive at STEX Software Ltd.

With over two decades of disciplined service in the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), I have built a career rooted in physical fitness, instructional excellence, and the holistic development of security personnel. As a certified Physical Training (PT) Instructor, I successfully completed both Basic and Advanced PT Instructor Courses at CISF RTC Deoli, and served in key instructional roles at CISF RTC Deoli, Sidhabari, and Arakkonam between 1990 and 2012 along with commando trainings .
These formative years instilled in me not just a commitment to physical rigor and discipline, but also a passion for mentoring others—shaping individuals to unlock their potential through structure, strength, and purpose.
In my current role with Adaptable Consultancy, I continue this mission in a dynamic and evolving context. I am responsible for ensuring the physical safety and emotional well-being of participants during our Experiential Learning and Game-Based Learning programs.
